Technical Whatzit, not Ford

  2. Been years since I actually seen a Murray body but I seem to remember an odd double seam like that on the one I worked on. That was back maybe 72 73 give or take a year or so.

    Thank you for the excellent response. Those fordor bodies were different from the other Fords murray.jpg

    edit: From Fordbarn, Murray bodies incorporate "caged" nuts where items are attached to the body (like the firewall) whereas Briggs used "D" nuts.

    mine has D nuts so is a Briggs fordor

    10-20 feet away the Briggs & Murry cowls look the same, up close there are a lot of details that differ. Bob
