Looks like a Facel Vega, a limited production line of exclusive autos built by a French coach builder. IIRC they started in 1954 and the run ended in the mid- sixties, and some were Chrysler powered.
There are a lot of style stimulating the front grille area the Facel Vega but the side screens and the fins kinda through me. Maybe a custom Facel Vega from the past. HRP
That's too easy. plus they may just be hauling it for someone and most times they will not give out that information. HRP
With an eleven year run of building exclusive cars they no doubt had styling changes over the years, here’s a photo of one with fins. The towing service said they thought it was a Dodge. I imagine they looked under the hood and saw the 383/Torqueflite power plant, but that car came from France.

It cost, for example, about $200 more than Cadillac's Eldorado Biarritz convertible. However, its price did not even come close to that of the ultra-luxurious 1956 Continental Mark II at $10,400, or the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham at $13,074. Of the 117 cars produced, 32 still existed as of July 2006. The cars were mostly bought by American celebrities, such as Frank Sinatra, Sterling Hayden and Richard Nixon. Desi Arnaz owned one, but he wrecked it. Ronald Reagan owned one, which he lost in a high-stakes poker game with then-President Lyndon Johnson, who kept the car for several years. Dean Martin had one at one point as well, according to his son Ricci. Dean Martin can be seen driving his Dual-Ghia in the film Kiss Me, Stupid. Musician Rick Danko from 1958 owned one, which was auctioned by Sotheby's for close to $350,000.[5]
It's funny that this is the 2nd time this week I've run across the Dual Ghia. First time was in this video I watched last weekend... (goto 2:28 to jump to the DG content)
Well played Ron. I was on the right continent, but in the wrong country. The Dual Ghia was also Dodge powered.
Last year I was privileged to go to Eyes on Design in Michigan. At the show I gravitated to the Cadillacs and was talking to a 59 Cadillac guy who introduced his wife. We chatted about Cadillacs and I said my mate has Sinatra’s 58 Eldorado Brougham. She said “my grandfather was Gene Cassaroll who started Dual-Motors and he sold Sinatra one.” I said there was a Dual Ghia on the other side of the field. So we walked over to see it in the rain and mud at Edsel Fords Lake house. She looked at the dash and burst into tears because there was a dash plaque stating that it was a gift from her grandmother to her friend. I have photos on my other ph. I’ll try and post them.
OK, this is a new one on me. Never heard of a "Dual Ghia". I did try to buy a "Facel Vega" back in the early '70s, with a 383, dual 4 bbls, and a 5 speed transmission. All from the factory...
