I was wondering with all the different ch***is' we are running what the wheel base for the various builds?
For example if you have a pick up style most would (I think) be on the shorter side. The flat beds might have a mid range W/B and the car hauler might have the longest W/B.

I know my frame is a long bed regular cab and I plan on running a sleeper so I will have to lengthen the wheel base. I am going to measure it tomorrow and will post what mine is.

    What is your wheel base?

    Donn, I haven't measured, but I think 158" wb? '89 chevy 1 ton....
I plan on crew cabbing mine, plus a car hauler bed......so it will end up pretty long.

I havent worked out my wheel base yet for my car hauler.I am building a 41 chevy on a 84 chevy camper ch***is.which i need to extend about 6 ft in the middle i think. So i am still thinking about if i want to move the engine behind the cab or leave it where it is.If I leave the engine where it is I have to figure out what to do with the drive shaft. It is already a 2 piece that is fairly long.Any body done this before. Well I finally got out to the back forty to measure mine 137" long W/B with a 43 inch tread width. I guess I'll be doing some frame stretching.
