I’m confused! My grandfather’s ‘39 came to me without a spare tire rim. Measuring the hole spacing appears to be 9.5” Would this be correct? Thanks in advance!
39 Fords used 16 inch wheels with a very wide bolt pattern. They are known as "wide fives". This changed in 1940. Here's some helpful info on Fordbarn. Open and scroll down for photos and info. I remember them being 5 on 10 1/4 pattern. Post a "wanted" add here and on https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/ and maybe something will show up. Where are you located?
