I’m confused! My grandfather’s ‘39 came to me without a spare tire rim. Measuring the hole spacing appears to be 9.5” Would this be correct?

    Thanks in advance!

Any original wheel from 1936 to 1939 Ford will work. And no other cars had the same bolt pattern.

39 Fords used 16 inch wheels with a very wide bolt pattern. They are known as "wide fives".
    This changed in 1940.
Here's some helpful info on Fordbarn. Open and scroll down for photos and info.

Fordbarn and HAMB folks may have rims for sale so do a search on those sites.
