I got these wheels/tires for my 30 Tudor cuz I think they look cool. Turns out they are GM (15" 5x4.75 BS). Can anyone tell me if a Ford cap will fit such as the others shown below? If not do yo know what caps would fit? Thanks,NRM

That style wheel (spring clips to retain hubcap), and 4.75" bolt circle, was used on Chevrolet p***enger cars from 1949 through 1953 models. For 1954 through 1956 models, ( 15” ) the wheels had three ‘bumps’ around the perimeter of the center lug area to retain the hub cap.

The Ford cap on the left, with ‘Ford’ lettering in the white background, uses the style of hub cap retention (outer bumps) and definitely will not fit the wheels pictured. While the other caps you posted used an internal ‘bump’ for retention, similar in concept to the GM clips, they will not work on the GM wheel either.

Coker Tire has an extensive selection of hubcaps available and I suggest you look there for caps designed to fit the style of wheels you have.

Ok, thanks Hnstray. Maybe I'll try to swap these for Ford wheels.

If your car has 4.75" wheel bolt circle, there are no stock Ford wheels with that bolt pattern. Fords (Merc & Lincoln and Ford pickups) from 1940 thru '48 cars and thru early '60's pickups, that originally took the style hub caps you want to use were 5 x 5.5" bolt circle.

However, aftermarket wheels are manufactured with the early Ford style hub centers but have both 4.75" and 4.5" (later Ford) bolt patterns. Coker and other vendors will have them available.

Jim, For some reason it wont let me reload the picture. I'll try to reload the picture here again later.
The rear axle is 4.5 and the wheels are 4.75. I was going to get RottenLeonards drill guide and redrill the rear axle and drums. I had a set of the dual pattern wheels but didn't like the more modern look to them and these came up at a VERY reasonable price. The tires are in good shape so I was gonna use them also. For the front I was going to order the rotors with the BS pattern to match the wheels. To be honest, I thought the wheels 4.5 when I bought them but realized afterwards that they were 4.75. My bad! I've been thinking about this and if I can't get a Ford cap to fit then my options are to use baby moons that fit or full wheel covers (which defeats keeping them for the look, I know.), or get Ford wheels with 4.5 BS which would be the most expensive way to go. The whole thing is a mess that I am trying to make better.

Now I can see the picture. Strange.

Yeah, wheels can be a mess. I looked around for smoothie caps for those wheels, didn't find any.
