Ok,I just ordered a set of Wide Whites for my 32 roadster, but am having a hard time deciding if I should keep my wheels red,or do them black,so please tell me what u think, maybe that will help me decide, heres a picture of the car now.I also have black and white interior, and black and white pin stripping.

hmmm. maybe some stock spokes w/ stock chrome cap and a good bias ply tire. maybe lose the radials and meats on the back.

  5. OK, I cheated. I didn't actually change the tires, I just put some white sides on the old tires.

Personally I like the version with black rims better.

Based on Kaspar's pics, keep 'em red. But I prefer it with blackwalls.

I like 'em black. I really like Noteboom's idea about the stock spokes though. Black on those also.

I'd prefer to see the car with tall bias (white or blackwall) and kelsey wires.
Now that will change it and get it away from the 90's look. inho

I gotsta disagree - it looks killer bee red on red. The black is just such a noisome contrast. If it were a black car with red wheels, it wouldn't be an issue, but damn. the red on red looks TIGHT. But then again ... what do I know?

I prefer the red on red, just seems to flow better for me. The black walls look so killer though.

You can't go wrong no matter what you decide.

I like the red wheels with the blackwall tires, and the black wheels with the whitewalls.

i suggest you get another set of wheels to mount the WWW's on and keep these tires on these wheels, regardless of what color wheels you mount the new tires on.

    and switch sets occasionally.

and, oh, yeah, fwiw i like the blackwalls better.

for WWW's i'd paint the whole car black and use black wheels. but it's easy to tell someone else what to do with his/her car/ca$h. where's my knock your socks off '32 roadster? oh, yeah, i don't have one.

    John,
Don't change a thing. But if you must, red stripes on the black wheels would look wicked pissah.

Both look great, but I would go with the red. Then again, it's not my car, so do what pleases you.Greg:cool:

If you are sticking with the red, here it is with skinnier and slightly taller back wheels.
