Can't decide whether to paint the wheels, thinking orange, red or leave body colour?

Yes, think you might be right.
I'm having a little bit of paintwork done and am looking at putting my own stamp on the car!!

jmho, I think it looks perfect just the way it is. Add some fuzzy dice, lol. Seriously, if I lived out of the USA and owned that car, I'd have to add some USA window stickers like route 66

That's a nice car,as for painting the rims a contrasting color why not paint your spare and post the photo of the car on the Photoshop thread and ask for some ideas on wheel color. HRP

I think a shade of brown that compliments your interor might look pretty spiffy.

Yup, maybe some shade of brown like Brodie said, but your car looks really good. I wouldnt toutch it thatwise if it was mine. I understand your idea and somewhat the need to refresh. I feel that too sometimes, but I keep myself from doing it. There's just so many things in the to-do list that I forget about it. In the end of my reliability struggle, if ever that comes, I'll think about aesthetics.
If you really want to, go ahead, try it on the spare with the photothing like hotrodprimer said.
Oh and do tell us what you came up with.
    Regards.

I think it is perfect as-is and would leave it alone if it were mine. However on a related note, I have a dark brown 63 Biscayne that I just painted the wheels about the color of your car to wake it up some...

I would leave it alone. Mine has red wheels and I'm not crazy about it.

Ian...good thing you posted that question here and not on the main board. Every other post would be telling you it'll never look right until you drop it another 4", lol
