I bought these wheels today, I want to know exactly what they are. The have cragar gt center caps, but they are solid aluminum or magnesium. I do not have them in my possession yet, so I can not answer specific questions. 14x6, 4.5 bolt pattern if that helps. How rare are they and what may they be worth?

    Anyone, little help please;)

  3. Looks like a Cragar GT.

There was a different style GT too that had a recessed spoke that looked like 65 Shelby GT 350 ( made by Cragar also)

Yes, they're G/Ts. They were also marketed by Sears with center caps that read "MAGSTER".

I looked for info everywhere, are the one piece wheels rare? Seems there are several conflicting stories about the gt's being an aluminum center with a steel hoop. What material are the wheels made of?

Turn yours over. Do you see the steel hoop now?

I've never seen Cragar G/T's that are all aluminum. (Yes, that is a weird alloy of aluminum, not magnesium)

Cragar G/T's came out about 1965. There were at least three different spoke shapes, with your smooth spoke being the most popular. I've only ever seen G/T's in a 6 inch wide wheel, and the 14 inch is a lot more common than the 15 inch.

A 14x6 with a new Ford pattern is the most common Cragar G/T made. I've paid as little as $5, and as much as $60 for a real nice one in that size. But I am a cheapskate. :) A 15 inch wheel should bring at least twice the going rate of the 14 incher.
