Hey guys and gals, My dad and I are in bussiness together making wheels and what I'd like to hear from you guys is what you guys would like to see on the market in the way of wheels or anything wheel related. Steel wheels, wire wheels, hubcaps, whatever. What is something you wanna see?
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

Fraz would like to see an Astro Supreme styled wheel in larger diameters than 13-15 inches. There was a company that had them up to stupid large, but a set of 16" or 17" Astro's on his Byooik would look nice, I believe. They'd also let him keep the original finned drums without having to use spacers.

    Procede to flame Fraz.

A repop of the Kealsey Hayes steel wheels for Ford would be great. Or any so called artillery wheel.

These are made to look like kelsey wheels, the biggest differences in them are that the center hub is smaller so it fits better into a 15" wheel and that the spokes are ajustable (which is how all wire wheels are made today, and KH were) and that they are bent up by the hub, this is because of production costs. This type of spoke is much much cheaper than the ones that came with KH wheels. If they were made with the KH style instead of the cheaper style instead of being about $175 a wheel they would probably be around $350 a wheel.

From an earlier post, it seems a lot of people would be interested in a wide 5. With new Buick drums available, a kit with a spider, drum with center cut out, a thin aluminum domed cover for the original lugs, and a wide 5 wheel in 18" would be a hit. Just so they didn't all look alike, you'd probably have to do a couple other centers, maybe rippled or 5 spoke.

I'd just like to see a wheel co that can deliver a wheel!!

I've tried to get a set of 15x4.5 or 5 Ford gennies in chrome and have got nothing but a run around.

16", 18", and 20" steel wheels that take 40-48 Ford caps, and have 5x5-1/2 bolt pattern. Although once you got the wheels made I'm sure you could offer any bolt pattern needed.

They should all be made in the same style like the Divcos, or solid like the International wheels, so we can mix and match for the right porportions or 18" and 20" wheels that look like the Solids or Gennies that Vintiques already makes in a 16".

I have been searching for 18" Divco style wheels 5x5.5 BP. The original Divco's are out of sight in price and vintage 18" Halibrands (or the limited production repro ones out there) are mega bucks.

Stockton can make them, but with the reputation they have I would rather do business with folks that can deliver what they promise.

The Dynomat Dynoliner 1/2 32 coupe (TRJ #32) looks killer with the 18" wheels front and rear (allthough it is a fake display). It might not be a bad investment to make this size of wheel because I think we will be seeing more of this look in the future.

  16. Artillery wheels in assorted sizes, widths, backspacings and bolt patterns would rock.

I vote for the artillery wheels, I think they'd look hot on the wife's Flower roadster truck (although the original '35 wires look good, they are just a little crooked).

How about steel wheels for the larger type disc brake coversion (11"). It seems that back space is only 3" due to the wheel desin. I'd like to see a 3 1/2 - 4" backspace. I'm not pro disc brakes. It was pretty much an only option to go with for using dropped spindles, since my a-arms are narrowed. It helps with getting that tire tucked in more. looking at wheel size 15 x 5.

Over here on this side of the Pond you'd sell bucketloads of 15" 4-stud Ford (4-1/4" PCD) solid steels, 4", 5", 6" and 7" widths, especially if they'd take '40 Ford hubcaps!

Make the 18" Kelsey Hayes steel wheels. The one's eveyone call 'DIVCOs'. The demand seems to be there. Weld the centers in instead of riveted.
Then maybe I'll stop getting asked to sell mine. hahahaha.:D

If you have the means to making wheels, why don't you start with a selective old school ones like from the 30's or 40's as in Artilliary or divco style that there seems t be alot of people on the HAMB here interested in and in like 15-18 inch' in size. KNUX!

I would like an ultra narrow, maybe 3 or 3.5"s wide space saver spare with 5X5.5 bolt pattern.
