looking for some plain steelies for my 53 2dr sedan, should I be looking for 15" or 16"s?

also, haven't gotten a chance to actually measure the lug pattern on the car (haven't picked it up from PO yet and it's 5 towns away)... but it should be 5x4-3/4", correct?

I had 4" b/s 15x7's on mine with 235-60 and 245-60. You should be able to run 15x8's on the rear.

Stock wheels are 15 x 5. Radials to replace the stock bias tires are 205 75 15

5 x 4-3/4 is the correct bolt pattern

You can't if you are running skirts... I have radials on the back of my '52 with the stock width wheels and the tires rub the skirts. Can't wait until I can afford a couple of new Cokers for the rear!

  12. I run 15x5's on the front and some 15x7 wagon wheels on the rear. Tires are 205/75/15 front and 225 or 235/75/15's out back. My Hurst cheaters even fit with the square thread on a large 235 casing.
