I was wondering if anyone could suggest anything on how to fill in the wheel wells on my bucket. Is there any part that anyone knows of that might fit or.any good sheet metal guys in albuquerque? Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
Sorry for the short post but the phone was about to die. Anyway, my project is about finished now and the wheel wells on this thing are really ugly. It's meant to be a budget ride and the look has kind of grown on me, if I can make the sides look right it should turn out pretty cool. Thanks for any input, I'm just pretty limited on my sheetmetal skills so I was wondering if there is a replacement panel from another car that you think might fit, or if there are any good sheet metal guys here in Albuquerque.
That's a pretty flat area, so I bet you could cut it out and fill with flat metal that was bent slightly to fit the shape. I suppose you might even find a donor roof, or some other car metal that might even mimmick the shape close enough also. Make a template of the area above and in front of the recess and go search the junkyard for suitable donor metal. Abuquerque? Your location says Spokane??? You in witness protection or something?
I keep thinking of doing it myself. It is pretty flat except for the bottom and the back corners of the panel. I'll try to grab some closer pictures today. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
