WHEELBASE 100" or less- pros and cons?

    Coupe body 97" 1700 lb front 1400 lb rear with a high mounted big block is a lot more stable than I ever expected. Front wheels are 71" at total width seems to make a big difference when making an evasive lane change.

    My 65 cobra has a 93" wheelbase with a 460 big block. Drives like a go cart.

    Check rules if you want to take it on a track. Local tracks here have a 92" minimum wheel base requirement.

    my Fiat has only an 80" wheelbase. Although I am in the process of stretching it out to 90". The NHRA rulebook has a 90" minimum rule to run. Not to mention it allows me to move the engine ahead for a little more leg room. Should also make it more stable.
