Hey Jim, how's it all? He was parked next to me at Sherwood a few years back and it had Viper wheels on it. Said that was where the suspension came from. Anyway that was better. There a real nice 49 Buick fastback running around with the same ugly wheels. Somebody should tell them
[ QUOTE ] Is it just me or is the 2nd picture only showing the car from the hood up? Billy [/ QUOTE ]Me too.

Hah! me and my dad were talking about this the other day after a show, you see all these cars done up real nice with pep boys wheels on em!
Heres my contribution to the debate.... This customer had his own ideas when he took his car home to finish... you can advise but you cant make them listen !!!
Let's see the black car's 'nasty wheel's'....or is the photo being fuged on purpose? The UK ride has late model blue's....too bad, it has the chance to be cool. Boyd Wheel's? Tune in to "American Hot Rodder" to see what's wrong with America today.
At the RF Party last weekend there was a trad 70s style T Bucket with wire wheels br*** radiator etc. The owner put a set of blinging dubs on the back w/o changing anything else. Look ahhh welll (being polite) disharmonius... like someone playing "Stairway to Heaven" on an accordian.
I was at a show in Anna Tx a two turd town in bum **** Texas. A gay I mean guy took a 50 shoebox ford and put it on a taurus SHO. Left the ugly dash, door panels, and everything. Then for his choice of wheels some but ugly pontiac wheels I'd say from a 80's grand am. I wish I had a camera to record this abomination. It was about as horrible as those kits for the shoebox front and rear end on a 90's thunderbird

The worst part was that he had to move the front wheel openings backwards so they were almost against the door opening, and there was all this space between the front bumper and wheel opening. (As if keeping it front wheel drive wasn't bad enuff!) It looked like one of those cartoons where somebody slams on their brakes so hard that the body shifted forward on the ch***is! Dude had a crowd around it, and he looked all proud. I don't think he realized that most people were shaking their heads in disgust.
I will NEVER understand these wheels...and people will put them on anything. They spend a ton of time and money building a car, and then just roll on down to Sears or Wal-Mart and get some cheap shiny wheels.

The cheap **** you bought when someone had stolen your wheels to get by until you save enough $$ to buy new wheels.

And you know what... About 90% of the American car owners overhere is running these wheels...
I think these wheels help 'make' my car. The 1/4" wide red pinstripe on the 17x8" wheel mimics the look of redline tires. No cheesy billet or cheap chrome rims for my 'daily mullet'.
Those look good draggin, make it look sleeper-esk. And those cheap *** chrome ones above look like **** no matter what car they go on, they would be better off with kmart spinner caps.....well....almost... Greg
