Hello, My wife was not an automobile fanatic as we were growing up. A car was a car. It got her from one place to another. The kids were usually, crammed into the back seat of a Chevy sedan in the OKC area or the multiple cross country road trips to So Cal when they were little kids. When we met each other in college, she got to know me and my tastes in old cars, sporty cars and trucks. As our get together forays on the weekends and sometimes during the vacations, we would drive to a coastal location to spend time looking at sporty cars and some cool fast sedans, mostly factory foreign builds. This allowed us to spend time at the beach, but also, have a future plan of one day buying a nice car. She was driving a 62 Corvair at the time. In the years after graduation, we got married and moved to a small apartment we could afford. But, our interest in one day getting a nice car was in the future, but still a long ways away. We met one of our neighbors who had an interest in fine cars and always had a two door sports car convertible or a hardtop coupe. Those wheels stood out as the first thing we saw, besides the pure black paint. Cromodora Wheels… They were stock wheels on certain sporty cars and looked very nice. Jnaki It was a very nice car with tan leather upholstery and a shape that was outstanding. A classic car for sure. But, at the time we might as well climb Mt. Everest. Ha! These days, there should be a company that will have a version that should fit most bolt patterns, being a wide open market for all wheels. YRMV
Just type Cromodora in your browser. That company has been making high pressure cast magnesium wheels since 1962, per their own website.
Dave. I did and very interesting. I like stylish wheels as long as they are not too crazy. These caught my eye on a 55-56 Ford page. I like the ETs for the polished edge but as cast has the old Halibrand look I like also. Ford Racing made some great looking wheels in the 60’s that I also admire!
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^To me they look like something out of the bottom of a washing machine, just to busy, JMO, hope it works out for you!^^^^^^^^
