History When did Offy 3x2 for Caddy come out?

I'll probably be going with a Cadillac 331 for my custom. I'd prefer Offenhauser 3x2bbl intake, IF it's period perfect. Does anyone know, when did it first come out? I guess there were 2x2 manifolds available first, and 3x2 and other configurations followed..
