Purchased a Hot Rod 5 gauge kit from autometer #1702. I was replacing my Stewart warner. The New speedo from autometer fell right through the hole. I called autometer but they could care less. I always thought the standard was 3.375"??? A friend daveydeuce won the same set as I have and now he also has the problem. What is everyone doing for the big fix??

I think I'd be checking a hobby shop for a piece of 1/4+ 1/4+1/8" thick aluminum angle bracket that I could wrap around a pipe and just **** the ends at the bottom of the guage to make a spacer to fill the space.
Or try to get C9 to turn some spacer rings on his lathe... [IMG]

Your right on turning some spacer rings on a lathe. I'm lucky that I have all of the equipment to make rings. I guess that I was hoping that there was an adaptor ring already made for this. What I have is the old Stewart Warner 5 gage panel. When you look through the cataalogs at gages all speedo and tachs are the 3.375 dia. Why did Auto Meter throw such a monkey wrench in the mix and with the wrench why didn't they include the fix?
