When freeing up a stuck engine.....

    I've had similar results. One thing I've heard works but haven't tried yet is using those ultra-cheap 3-liters of the no-name brand cola. They still have the "oomph".

    Use any of these things. But take your time. I tap the pistons with the wood end of a heavy hammer. Not to hard ,your not trying to move the piston you just need to crack its hold. Now let it sit for a day or two. When you see the oil start to go down you will know its starting to free up. I tap each piston one time only. Take your time.

    Take a piece of 2 x 4, stick it in a cylinder and then take a BFH and pound on it. Just unstuck a 312 YBlock that way (with the help of Kroil).

    This does it for me too. Borax, water, and a drip charger.
