I'm going to use the S10 chassis that the 39 Chevy came on. The wheelbase is pretty close as you can see the the first pictures of the 39, but It's not going to matter how close the wheelbase is because I'm cutting the car up to fit anyway.

The front is lower than the back, but just slightly lower I think it's still safe from the racer look

Cut the car in half again and shortened it 6 inches. I have to give a shout out to Mike Bermudez of Damaged Goods Customs for assisting me on this build

This was made from a 36 4 door sedan by a kiwi called Dean Blenkhorn. Just putting it up as an example that it can be done. Sorry for the big pic.

  18. When you get a chance can you throw in a pic of the S10 frame showing the cowl area? I presume it had to be altered to fit that body and I'm curious how it was done.

Well i'm still building the body and when I get done with that I'll have to do my modifing most likely channeling the frame, but when the chevy was on the S10 frame the outer sides of the frame was right there on the edges of the cowl. I'm pretty sure I'll have pics posted when I get to it.

  20. The body is coming together well. Cant wait to see it all together and layed out.

Proportions are looking really good, I'm a believer now. If you can get that transition from the rear window to the trunk lid just right, you'll have it nailed.

  22. Im not sure what I think yet but it looks like you're having fun

  23. I had my doubts.
But I must say it's looking pretty damn good.

  24. Same here. Not sure at first but now, I think you got it going on...

Maybe this will help a little it's a shot I took after I cut the Chevy in half. It shows how narrow the frame is
