Most women can be real vindictive, I am sure you have already thought of this and are covering your ass.

Incorporate. It'll save your ass, and your assets.
And get a good CPA--a lot of businesses have gone tits up for lack of good book keeping.

Congrats on the new life! You'll be very happy. And everyone deserves to be happy.

Wow, time passing on the internet.
From wheel barrow firewalls and first chops to full fledged rod shop.

It's gonna be amazing Don. Best of luck to you.

    Kick ass Don.

Let me know when you are all settled in. If it's not too late, I'd still like to try that stamping project we chatted about.

Thanks for the well wishes and encouragement, it means a lot.

I have already been doing a lot of planning which includes hiring a top notch CPA firm and an attorney who is handling all the paperwork for establishing an S type corporation. My soon to be Ex will have no legal claims to anything that I have established after separation. I won't have any problems with her.

T-shirts will be available in about a week. Big logo on the back and small logo on the left front. White ones:

    and black ones:

Coby, we'll work on that embossing idea as soon as I get all my junk moved into the new place.

I appreciate the advice you gave me back at the GG's Snottsdale show (at Hot Rods by Dean's open house), you're a really good guy. Divorce BLOWS, but like others have said, it's early on, not that it makes it any easier, but at least you don't have decades together.

Dude, if you want anything that I can help with, let me know.

Good luck with the new venture, Don. As for your ex admitting she "made a mistake"...my first wife told me that after 5 months of marriage. She's now separated from husband #3, apparently she doesn't learn from her mistakes. LOL

Great attitude, keep it up and you'll do fine.
Plus, you've already got the perfect car to represent the shop once its back together again.

  19. Add me to the list of well-wishers and good luck-ers :)
Nothing is more rewarding than self-employment(and nothing will drain you as much either:eek:) Calling the shots, doing it "your way"--- makes getting up and going to 'work' a pleasure.;)

and now maybe you'll finish the Cadillac? :p

"Made a mistake"... eh...??? Sounds like when the fun funds dried up she didn't want any part of you...

You should try that at about 60 years old...it's a lot tuffer then...but you'll be OK...and better off.

Better to land on your feet and keep on keepin' on...find a new gal and a new life...good luck...

Don, Best of Luck with the new venture. I will pick up a couple of 3X or 4x in white shirts if you have them in that size.
