Looking for some details on when the first cabover was built. Was there ever a 32 cabover or has anyone ever built one out of a truck cab? I think it would look neat!
Autocar started building "engine under seat" trucks in either 1909 or 1911 (they weren't closed cabs) Dearborn (a division, or partner of Ford) started converting conventionals about '35, Montpellier started doing the same with Chevrolet and Dodge about the same time. Poke around on Willysbill's site for more info. http://ozcoetrucks.atwebpages.com/I...Vhy9Tczex2wiNl12jZbOOtGsuMswH021Sd0Pb9Ei93SBE then click on Specifications, Adverti*****ts, Parts Identification COE Links page...
