When you put stuff for sale and you get calls just to chat?

Does that happen to everyone or just us?
I had put my dads car for sale for him his 32 and 35 Ford Roadster ..and he stopped answering the phone because a long time ago,people were more interested in how he did certain things.. I know we probably missed a few calls in there that actually wanted to buy the car.. He lovessss to talk cars… but he is getting older and doesn’t really wanna sit on the phone for numerous reasons.. How do you guys word it.. Serious Inquiries Only maybe… Not to be rude but Just your thoughts on it please? Thanks
How to differentiate the calls?? I ended up putting my number now to weed out that a little.How do you say it and not would rude? Thanks

 

You might ask a mod to move this to the forum where you posted the pics of the TBird. You will get a lot more responses. This is for antiques that don’t necessarily deal with cars themselves.
