Makes me feel like I'm falling outa' my chair. If you need to get the whole car in the pic, just take a step back.

So, Monster, you're an "art" critic, eh...??? That's photographic "art", can't you see that...??? Did you shoot those pix as an example...???

A word of advice -- next time you open a thread with "art" photos in it, simply clik off it and go to the next thread of your choice. I don't mind crooked...ehr..."art" photos...

    Agreed!
Another thing I don't like is the hand-held video crap, like in The Office. Irritating. Use a freakin tripod!

I will say those pics-on-a-stick that Evel did of a car show earlier were f-in cool!

Now wait a minute... that T-Bird looks good that way. maybe it's the AMOUNT of the angle. it doesn't apear to be falliing of the page. looks more like a rocket ship in space.

Worse than crooked photos to my eyes? Wide angle lenses... I know folks are trying to be creative and all that... BUT, hot rods and customs are about proportion and line. You shouldn't screw with that by way of glass.

MonsterFlake, somebody's idea of artsy-fartsy. I AGREE WITH YOU! Ruins the picture. (Only rarely is this camera angle justified.)

And I agree with Ryan, and just about ANY photo technique can be abused or overdone. Pursuit of the artful does not justify technique over content. If you can make something work, fine. But if it's not working, or it looks contrived and over-produced, then edit your own work. It takes and eye, plus the willingness to be truthful with one's self. Sorry.

  20. HA! I love it!

  21. I agree. There's a guy that posts club photo's and the pictures are annoying to say the least. If they were level, then they would be awesome pictures!! Once in a while it's ok to have a picture like this but its like they do it once and go " Cool" and then every stinking one of them are angled!!!

I'm with there, Rick.... Crooked photos are damn near as irritating as avatar photos that are improperly formatted and end up distorted;)

    Sometimes it's a necessity...

If you can't back up any more, and you want to get the entire car in the shot.

    Just saying,
