Simmer down kids, this is merely an exhibition not a competition! Ha Ha Ha

Gilty that is a pretty impressive showing for your 3rd post. There are people on here with Hundreds of posts that haven't ever done or said anything that cool.

Nate your picture is about dead nuts on! Thanks!

Progress my slow on the project a bit. Russ just called me and said he just ran a drill bit through his wrist. Since he is off of work he is shopping for steel for his frame. Ha ha ha

I was thinking the same thing.

No doubt, this car will be impressive, and certainly wild, but more than a few people will note the resemblance to the Karmann Ghia -- you know, kind of like those "hot rod" VW Bugs. :D

Plowboy asked me what I was going to do to make it NOT look like a Kharman Ghia the other day.

Yeah I drilled through my hand today, but I still went and got the steel for my frame after I left the ER. I have tomorrow off with a doctor's slip so maybe I'll mess with it some more.

When Russ was first Mocking this thing up I asked him "wouldn't it just be easier to start with a bug and put the Stude front end on it?"

That would have been too easy though.

  8. I'll do it when I go home tonight... I drink Miller Lite.

I'll try to keep it from looking like a certain famous builders V12 roadster.

  9. Plowboy I think I did a photoshop for your space truck many years ago. Check this model kit I found

Abe, I believe you are correct. I think I recall you doing one for me. Were you one of the ones that said it was going to be stupid? Ha Ha Ha I don't remember back that far.

    That "model kit" is cool.

4t64rd I drink Miller Lite too when some one else is buying. Ha ha ha Otherwise it will probably be Busch Light for you.

    Thanks Guys!

That picture looks like Rob Halford in his high school days.

Steve, is that the "GIMP" you keep in a trunk in your basement?

The chassis construction started yesterday. An order to speedway is going in this week for a dropped axle/brake kit.
