    Hi Phil

Bit of a distance from you, but we have met and spoken before. I am the guy from the UK who was at Finsterwalde last year, driving the flathead powered 27 T Roadster, I think you also spoke to my wife Beverly who had the red primered 56 chevy and to my mate Nick who was in the 351 cleveland powered 32 roadster.
    Hows it going mate ?
I see you are selling the Merc, have you found something to replace it ? If so it must be something pretty special because that merc ticks a lot of boxes.
Are you going to the Sins show in Antwerp in april ? We are all going, might see you there.
    Paul.

Nice Iron...Where does stuff like that originate from in Italy? Is it something just recently imported from the States or did they sell those cars new back in the day at all...? I´m under the impression the popular-vintage American stuff sold fairly well new in places like France, Austria and Switzerland back in the day.

The NY was sold new in Germany, the 35 was an old rod imported in the seventies and left outside for 20 years. The others were imported by me from the States. The 39 was a piece of junk, the 46 was sold to me by a Hamb member.
There were many cars sold in Italy when new, but most were junked or sold abroad in the sixties. I have a 57 DeSoto Fireflite coupe with 30.000 original miles that was sold new here, a 58 Fury, a 69 Camaro. But know of many others, like a 60 300 F conv, 60 Fury conv, 58 Eldo Biarritz, 60 Tbird, all sold here new

    Hi,

This is Gabor from Hungary. We're running our auto body shop with my brother here. I own a 59 Edsel, a 48 Olds fastback and a 73 Olds wagon. We're likely to turn up at Finsterwalde once again this year.

    Gabor is modest :)

He is building body parts for three of our cars right now.

    They are very very good.

When these get close to done there will be three more and three more and so on. :D

We're trying to do our best. :)

Bigtumtum, I don't want this to turn into an advertisement so if you wish I can say more in a PM. I can tell you, though, that we're cheaper than Western EU. But you may have already guessed that.

Our web site is being created right now, it should've been finished months ago but time just doesn't permit. Our URL will be www.flamingarage.hu

We're getting not only projects but a lot of help from Bluto, BTW.

art.flame I mean Finsterwalde in East Germany.
