Folks Of Interest Where are the Original first 500 HAMBers?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by CTFuzz, Aug 29, 2009.

  1. I'm an odd person...or like the saying, "everyone is someone elses weirdo...":)

Ditto....but I think that sets a tone of what the HAMB represents to us...and hopefully others will embrace 'the good' that this community offers to Hot Rodding.

    Cheers,

    Drewfus

Hey Rocky....still think of your 'other' 34....

What I've noticed about this thread it the first 500 have a low post count, we are here but not saying much. I think my first 300 posts were in the first year or two and fell off after that. I learn by listening and watching what others do. I dont see the need to say RAD or COOL on every thread I like. I think newer guys may want a taller post count.. Like Tman! HAHA Trent I love ya!!

If you are using windows, roll the pointer onto the name then look just above the start button on the lower left, the last number is yours

  8. That was the night Ryan fixed his exhaust on the 38 using Jims welder. If you look real close in the back of my Ranger you can see a 33/34 body, or parts of one;)

I believe that was the same weekend you burnt a turd in a hole at MoKan Dragway. :D:D:D I crack myself up sometimes :D:D:D

  11. How did I know that one was coming?:D:eek:

Extra thanks to Mel (miss you girl!) and the Franks. Mel and I wiped out 3 supermarkets buying up burgers and buns while the Franks unloaded their grill.

Fourthirteen also helped me make some Mexican dudes day at the farmers market buying up all of his corn on the cobb.

And to Jim and his wife for hosting a HAMB invasion and BBQ at thier place!

    Good times.

That was one of the most awesome weekends of my life. Got to meet a bunch of you cool people I had been talking to on the HAMB, got to see a bunch of great cars, watched some good racing, and to top of an already unbeleivable weekend I won the raffle engine.
I remember Alex (metalshapes) taking Ryan for a ride that evening in his roadster & scaring the crap out of him. Jim & Linda were great hosts, opening up their home to a lot of people they had never met before. I missed the last two or three years of the drags, something I said I would never do, gotta get back this year.

Pig burning, baby shower, has it been that long already?

I seem to remember a certain lady fogging out the parking lot at the host hotel with rubber smoke!

The actual enlistment numbers got a bit rearranged when the site was redone in 2001.

So if you see that March 2001 join date you know they've been around longer than that.

Yeah, I know! Where do some of them come from?

Bonehead question: How do you find out what 'number' you are???

You are 723. When you view your profile, it's the number at the end of the URL.

And good tequila in the parking lot. And lil' Mike telling me he doesn't drink tequila because it makes him do bad things. Lol, yeah right.

Mouse over your name and it should show up. You're 723

The other thing to do, if you're curious about the first 500, is to change that number at the end of the URL to any other, which should show you each person's profile in that range.

I believe I'm one of the first 500 also. I'm number 9. I forgot how long its actually been. I remember when it was more of a chatroom than a message board like it is now. The pokemon board was funny.
