Technical Where can I find a vintage automatic trunk light?

    It is not the LIGHT that has mercury but the SWITCH. The regulations are NATIONAL. You cant even ship an old mercury thermometer without HAZMAT training or permits. I spent 20+ years in the shipping industry
     
  2. Where I grew up we had an asbestos pit in the back yard Dad used to work in an asbestos mining job. Was fluffy and fun to play in. Oh yea, that's the place my sister got rattlesnake bit. I used to chew lead pellets. LOVED to play with mercury from broken thermometers, etc. Of course used to sleep in the back seat of the car, no stinking belts. Just hope I don't die of anything serious.

  4. How about using a neat looking dome light mounted to the inner trunk lid with a door jamb switch in the drain gutter of the trunk opening. I’m thinking about adding this to my 40.
