Projects Where can i get these 1926 Chevrolet headlight trim pieces ?

The round trim piece that holds/clamps the front gl*** and inner steel rim onto the the main body ? I have one aluminium ring that is rather thin and weak. I,ve looked at a few alternatives such as biscuit tins or kitchen pans but nothing worthwhile so far. Any ideas ? 9 inch outside diameter, 8 &3/8 inside diameter.

If you're just wanting something to adapt I'd recommend looking for the lid locking ring from a small metal barrel, it wouldn't be aluminum but it could be chromed. Other than that, it's time to make a hammer form.
