Say man- those are 1949 Buick tail lights, and that looks like a '52-'53 Kaiser bumper guard.

In my mind, it would look better with the stock lights frenched.

Looks great as is, a beautiful car with a nice stance.

 

Bumper looks like a stock 1951 ford rear bumper.

 

Yes, stock 49 Buick tail lights and bezals reversed. One year only Buick made those lights.

 

I like the tail lights but I might remove the bump outs in the quarter panels.

At least the tail lights blend well with the body line of the rear quarter.

 

Looks pretty good as is to these old eyes.

The problem with turning the Buick tail lights like that, is the bulbs and the light is pointing straight up in the air. Not to the rear anymore.
