I'm not down on the car. The front could take on any number of interesting looks depending on what goes into that grille opening. I like the side profile, but I think that the body needs to be level. As for the rear, I think that the designer tried for "rocket engines" but got something else instead. I'd say "giant sungl***es", but one of the qualities of this design, to me, is the way that the rear does NOT look like a big, cartoony face, even with those taillights. That yellow car looks like a character from the movie "Cars" that just had a fist rammed up its tailpipe. It's a shame some sketches didn't survive with this car. For the amount of work that went into the car, it ought to be finished in one way or another. But with all the craziness in this car, who knows what the original designer had in mind. It's a cool survivor.
Someone posted that truck a few days ago and asked if the tail lights were too much. Do a search and you may fine a glue.
Funny math? Seem by my education that nobody equals none, nada, zero. So where do the 20% come from, unsure to commit to your statement? Frank
I watched it on eBay & the guy listed it twice, both a no sale. I think he was from North Cali. He called it a Barris kustom. Bruce, did you buy that Ford kustom truck? I'm still mad at myself for not getting home soon enough to bid it again! Can't wait to see it done. Larry
That looks good. I'll bet that car could handle a 3 tone paint job pretty well. It has enough "natural" dividing lines that it could probably be pulled off rather tastefully. I'm thinking black on the lower and rear fenders, red in the middle and front fenders, and white up top. Anybody wanna give it a shot?
