where do i find a limited slip or posi trac

    S10 rearend center section at?Were they available from the factory or just aftermarket?I have the S10 rear from the 80's in my rambler and wanting posi.I don't want to change out the whole rearend because of the 4 links mounts,shock mounts,etc.

    Sure, S-10s were available from the factory with posi. If you're roaming the junkyards, look at the option code sticker in the glovebox. G80 designates positraction.

    Many of the 1978-87mid-size GM cars used the same 7.5" Metric rearend. The Posi-trac was fairly common in Monte Carlo SS.

    Also check 4X4's. They came from the factory with the govy locks.
