How does everyone keep track and learn well ahead of time about local events happening in the old car, vintage bike, period-correct hot rodding type of events? I know of one local reoccurring car meet and have seen a few go by after the fact (like Billetproof :(). but the wife and I would like to get to more gatherings instead of just hearing about them after they've passed. It seems the likes of California events are far easier to find than Florida ones, and they often get coverage here and other forums more than any other venue.

How do you guys find them and keep track of all of them?

Locally the old car club has a weekly/monthly meeting, plus their website for bigger venues. Just found out about an upcoming show (OT) by browsing thru craigslist for parts?

For larger shows it's usually the HAMB. (Roundup etc)

Do a search for "car shows" (in your state). I'm sure you will find quite a few sites.

www.flacarshows.com has lots of events listed. Mike Kelly's Cruise News publication has quite a bit more shows listed. Check them out.

There's a facebook page that lists "local" events for my area, the HAMB calendar, and from other guys I know.
