I want to know where do you keep all of your parts? Do you keep them in the yard? Do you keep them inside? Do you put a tarp over them? Do you keep them in a shed? Do you like green eggs and ham? My problem is is that i have soo much stuff i dont know where to keep it right now its all out side rusting away. I would realy like to put it inside, but no room too many cars in there already. i just dont know what to do and need some ideas im trying to get my stuff organised and the shop cleaned up.

    Thanks, Chris

Have small walk in storage shed built in your backyard. They make some big enough to put a work bench and still have storage space.

Some are in my garage at my apartment complex, some are in my dad's garage, some are in the shed at my parents, some are in closets around my apartment, and some (wheels.tires, grill shell, steering wheel, dash rail) are in the corner over there. The rest are in other people garages waiting to be sold to me at the next swap meet.

Single car garage with my 49 in it and various parts crammed in it so I can barely fit the car in and work on one side of it during winter. Then I have a stockade fence on the side of the house with a concrete pad and a shed in the back for yard tools and bulk parts I need stored long term.

I use the space above 6 feet all around the shop I hang everything I can. Plus I built storage areas above the hanging stuff. Shelves can't have too many shelves. Also I stick stuff I know I am not going to need with in the next couple months in the barn where squirrells and possums, 36 ford parts and Nova parts live. I put as much as I can on rollers so when I need to move stuff it's not a big deal. I had a freind that just past away but he kept model "T"s in his rafters

In my shop there is an 8 foot wde by 40 foot long storage area on the second level (behind the fake second story storefronts.) The walls up there are lined with 2 foot deep adjustable shelves. It holds a lotta crap, but as you probably guessed, its full.

i try to keep as few parts as necessary in the garage, tools take up all that space. most are in a storage shed, some fairly light stuff goes in the attic above the garage, motorcycle parks in the house. shiney chrome stuff, gauges, mag wheels, etc. goes in the livingroom.:D now don't go and rob me.

I miss out on alot of killer stuff due to the lack of space in my meager digs. 17x24 shop dont hold alot. I am constantly throwing stuff out to make room just to work. I'm missing out on a 54 gmc pu in my area for $250 just because I dont have anywhere to stash it...

I've got parts all over the place, work, dads house ,I've even got parts on the dresser in my bedroom.
If you have to store it outside, put it on a pallet and cover it up.Try to keep them from rusting any further.

In the back yard, on the patio, in a side room of the house, in the kitchen (38 hubcaps look good above the kitchen cabinets), in the garage, on Ol'Fueler's land in Utah (hopefully only for a little bit longer), and I think I may have even had some in the dining room for a bit. What gets really challenging is when you promise your significant other that her new car will always have a spot in the garage!! Space gets cut IN HALF!!
