Customs Where is the 51 for 15K.....it is here.

  1. I actually called CE today and asked them and they told me 42 1/2" center to center. I probably will have other questions. I seem to be missing directions from the kits. I have a 700r4 at the ****** shop now and I'm putting a 1958 Oldsmobile posi rear end in it with a 3.64 gear ratio. I really appreciate you helping me out and answering my questions. [emoji106]

No problem. Whatever I can do to help get another one on the road. Will get some pics tomorrow night or Saturday morning. Anything you want specific? Just let me know and I will get it to you.

  3. I talked to Walton Fab. I need to get my car up on the rack to do some measuring before I order a ****** crossmember from them. I took a quick look tonight and I'm missing the "K" brace on the p***enger side so, I need to find one of those before I order the ****** crossmember too. Actually I need to get the brace so I can get the measurements before I order the crossmember.... Always something to slow me down.

It always is. Have you found the "K" brace? When I get mine ready to paint (in a couple years) it will be a frame off. The belly and frame could definitely use some attention. No sense in painting the body and leaving that all nasty. Dearborn Cl***ics has all the supports.....not sure about the "K" brace. Have had a good experience with them as well. Pretty quick on delivery and satisfied with the quality.

  5. I found a local HAMBer with the parts I need and, I found a few threads on here about your car that will help me for sure!

Sorry...had to go out of country for a few days. I did an alignment on the car yesterday and much to my dismay the front and rear suspension were very loose and very out of tolerance. Got it done and balanced the tires. Not spot on as the P***enger front will not adjust anymore. I have to cut away more material as it is up against the inner fender. I got some pics and will post when I get to the house tonight. I got plenty of the suspension issues. Should make it a bit easier for you in the trouble areas.

Pics ain't loading. Will try again tomorrow. They were resized already. Shows a problem with my internet explorer. Keeps shutting off when I load the pics. I stand corrected. This is the p***enger control arm. You can see where it is up against the inner fender and will not adjust anymore. Will have to cut it out a little better. The other side is cut very clean. This side looks like it was done with an air chisel.
