Are there any cruise nights in the St. Louis, MO area worth hitting? Specifically in the west burbs but anything worth while would be nice.
How far west are you willing to go? There a couple coming up in the Washington, MO area. Washington is about an hour west of St. Louis. Both of the below events allow all vehicles to show up. Dairy Queen in Washington on Saturday, Aug 20 usually has a small-medium crowd depending on the weather. Modern Auto Chevy dealer is doing their annual cruise on Saturday, Aug 27 and there is usually a pretty good turnout there.
Actually, I'm in Washington. I have a sister here and have been visiting. I'd like to attend what you've posted but I'm sure I won't be here for the Modern Auto Show and not likely to still be here on Saturday for the DQ Show either. I need to keep these in mind for future visits. Thanks for the reply.
Highway 30 car club organizes a lot of the local cruises in this area, they have a facebook page that has some info on it, but it is not updated very regularly. They are the ones putting on the DQ cruise. There are always attendance prizes, and it is usually a decent turnout. I am not affliated with the car club, just frequent their shows. Next time you are coming into town feel free to give me a PM and I can give you a list of upcoming dates of other shows I know about in the Washington area. Most things are on Friday and Saturday nights.
Don't know if you are still in town or not, but Friday night there is a cruise at the Hardee's in Union. I have no clue who is putting it on or how big it will be, just saw the sign last night as I was driving by. Union is about 15 min south of Washington.
I may check it out. I will be in town for at least another day. Sis and her husband signed a contract to build a condo in StoneCrest if you know the area?
