In search of drop spindles for my 39 Pontiac Series 25. Fatman is no more… Any suggestions on where to look?

  3. I am in the same dilemma with my Buicks. Fatman was the only game in town, and Chevy ones don't fit. Rumor has it that Tim sold the intellectual property to someone who may start producing the BOP ones. In the meantime, I have been on the lookout for them. Sites such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigs list, and others. I have a wanted listing here.

Another option is using 1958 Pontiac lowers and converting to a ball joint front end. There is a Crankshaft Coalition article on how to. Those lowers are hard to find though.

I have this nagging memory of calling… I think… Fatman about a year ago, with him saying h did not have what I need anymore. BUT; referring me to someone on the west coast that had remaining stock on hand. Like a true procrastinator, I did not jump right away, and now regret it. I’ll try scouring my old phone records ( from my old phone ) and maybe get lucky. Shoot me what you’re looking for and IF I get a contact, I’ll ask on those also.
