Anyone know where I can buy some old/ new 9" wiper blades?

I found an old N.O.S. Trico 9" but only have one. I've tried shortening other older models, but have not been satisfied with my results. I am using the stock early chevy wiper arms shortned down and would be interested in old or new units to do the trick.
Anyone have any sugestions or know of any places that sell them?

I need them for a chop top 50's chevy.

    Thanks,
    -Torr

  3. I don't know the exact answer to your question but here's an idea...try searching for wiper blades (and maybe arms too if you need) from small hatchback rear window wipers....some of them are quite small. Maybe? I don't know for sure, but it's worth a look. I know you can find 11" wiper blades at many retailers, but 11 inches ain't the 9 inches you need-maybe you could trim those?

I've seen some ads online advertising 9" Anco blades....if you search Ebay you will find a few folks that sell them but I don't think I should promote them here...again, if you search for them, they are out there, but rare, yes.

Don't know if this will help, but I had a shoebox chopped 5". If I remember correctly, I used VW Beetle arms, with MG Midget blades. The midget
had a narrow windshield, and used three wipers, so the blades are very short. I hope this helps.

I'll second O'Reilly auto parts. I'm running blades on my chopped '53 Chevy that were for the rear window of something or other. Just take your arms with you and know what length blades you need. If they don't have something, they can order them. (And they'll look OEM, not billet.)
