where to find headlight bulbs.

    ok so this is definitely a beginner qustion, and while i did post a cl***ified add, i was wondering if theres any good source to get heatlight bulbs at. any good sites to order from? i figured i'm just not getting the inside information that everyone else is picking up....

    If your looking for the small bulbs that you push in and twist you can get both 6 and 12 volt ones at Mac's Antique Auto Parts. They have 6 and 12 volt sealed beams also.Their phone number is 800-777-0948 and their online catalog is at www.macsautoparts.com ..............Mike

    I got all the 6 volt bulbs for my Cranbrook from Rockauto. They have great prices, I got replacements for every bulb in the car including headlights for under 30 bucks. They don't list the bulbs by application, you need to have the part numbers for them.

    cool, i'll try macautoparts tomorrow, but it looks like they only had ford/ merc parts..oh, and how exactly do i find the part number? i'm looking for the 12 volt sealed bulb, if that helps at all

    If you're looking for 12V Sealed beam headlights, they have them at every auto parts store plus even WalMart.

    Come down to the lexus dealer, we charge 330.00 for one xenon HID bulb. Can you say ouch!

    oh, so they'd all be prety interchangeable? size and whatnot?

    sorry if i was a little hazy, but i've got a 54 buick special(forgot to clarify that) and am looking for the 12 volt sealed beams. i was wondering if there's any place in particular that you guys would normally get yours from....

    oK thats better and easy.. any parts store or walmart and the like.. Id go for the halogen stuff.. Cheap and better light.
