China does not make ****y parts and then ships them here, we ask China to make us ****y parts, the specs the parts are made to is the problem, China or any other country recives these specs and makes the parts that are then checked once they land here to see if they do meet the specs, then there put in boxes and sold....lol labour costs and regulations keep off shore parts prices low.

that and the fact that the materials chinese industry can use are far below the standards of american or canadian industry, as well as costs. you can sculpt a turd masterfully and perfectly paint it to look like a delicious hot dog, but it will still, at it's core, be a piece of ****. i'm just trying not to eat any pieces of **** disguised as hot dogs.

S&N Manufacturing is a small company in the Midwest that makes all of their solenoids using American made component parts. Give them a call.

  6. Well I don't know where to get one but I just happen to have a Cole-Hersee Boston, M*** USA brand new on my desk as we speak. It is not being used for anything at the moment.

  8. Most moto craft stuff is actually made in Mexico. The labor standards are not much better then China but they produce a better product in Mexico. Lots of ford stuff made in Mexico for a very long time now.

I don't really have a problem with Mexican parts like most do. I do have a problem with Chinese stuff, China is the new Japan.

We've been reboxing parts made in Mexico for many years here. The old oil seals in the rear of my Ford, looked to be leather and had "made in mexico" stamped into the shell.

The big companies here in the US that deal with Mexico do stop in to see their operations more frequently than the same deal going on in China. It makes a difference.

I'm just curious if anyone has looked into solenoids in marine applications, those used to be a cut above the ones made for cars. I sought those out for my stock cars since they never **** the bed on me.
