The local gl*** shop had some good stuff for windshields that sets up fast. $12 for the tube out the door.

WORST POSSIBLE THING TO DO!!!! JEEZE!!! What you need is "Windshield Urethane". It comes in a caulking tube & is used to glue in windshields. Should be available at any autobody supply & I would be surprised if some auto parts didn't have it. While you're at it, find & caulk everything around the house that needs it: once open you can't save the rest of the tube. Also make sure to read the instructions & get the right solvent for cleanup. It will make a large mess.

Use the gl*** guy!!! Not silicone, regular window urethane is the only way to go....clean it, prime it, install it.....forget it

The window urethane are moisture cured, that is why you need to use it all once the tube is opened, it will cure in the tube. You do not have to put water on it, it will cure fast enough with moisture in the air.
