There was also a guy at the Pileup this year that was selling some nice flange sets. I can't remember the name of the shop, but I will dig around. His stand was setup right next to Plowboys truck and Lunar Lander, if anyone else may recall. I will try and find out the place and get back with you.

  4. I got a set but I doubt if they are 3/8s.

Two sources #1 Contact Headmon Headers they'll sell you some.

or #2 get ahold of scarliner here on the HAMB, he's got a machine shop set up at home and would probably knock you a set out.

    Wyatt,
I cut up a set of S&S headers to build a set out of. They have about as thick a flange as any I've seen. You might give them a call and see if they sell just the flanges, I'll bet they do.
Chris Alston's Ch***isworks also has a good looking set, but $$$$.

I got mine from the FAB SHOP at fastracecars@hotmail.com for the headers for the MEL. They are 3/8" and very very nice. I was happy. Very fast turnaround time too.

Headers By Ed has everything you need and can build it if he doesn't have it in stock. He's been doing this 40 years. If you call the shop, you get Ed. Not some phone boy salesman trying to make a buck off your sale.

    Check out the web site.

  11. Make em yourself.

Use 1/4" cold rolled, you don't need 3/8"
Some guys like hot rolled and it works ok, but I like CR.

A couple pics of individually flanged header plates that I think work just as good if not better than the one piece units.

    The pics should be self-explanatory.

Make sure to allow for the thickness of tubing when you cut the port out.
