Hot Rods where's the money?

...since I started this thread, Ive mentioned a few times that I thot it'd be shut down, can't believe it's still goin,,,still very interesting reading.

 

What I can or will pay for a car may have something to do with its value.
What I can't or won't pay for a car has nothing to do with its value.

 

The trick is to find high wages in a low cost of living area.

 

With a short commute.

 

Autonomous vehicle development also takes place outside of Silicon Valley. I, too, am an engineer who in a previous position worked in an off-road autonomous vehicle development group at a Fortune 100 company here in the Midwest. We also contracted for services provided by entities based on the East Coast. Your job can most certainly exist outside of Silicon Valley while still being within the borders of the United States, especially given the changes in remote work that have become commonplace over the past few years.. #justsayin

 

I work in hardware development. Exactly zero-percent of my job can be done remotely.

Maybe you can PM me the names of these companies, as I don't know anyone which is at the scale that requires my skills.

Also, can my wife sell multi-million-dollar real estate there? Can I surf there? Will I find the culture agreeable? Can I drive my hot rod on a day like, say exactly today?

Is my family there?
