Wheres this Carter WD-0 from...??

I picked up this carb today, a carter WD-0.

Does anybody know what vehicle it might of come off?

Its a two barrel and is very similar to a Stromberg 97 just alot bigger. It has a four bolt fixing in the base.

 

That particular style of WDO is off of a 41-47 Hudson 6 cyl. and a 41-47 Oldsmobile 8 cyl.

If you don't have a use for it let me know cause I'm in need of a few more.

Yep: Hudson used those and a slightly different version in 48-49 too.

Mel: Search E-Bay under Hudson as I see NOS ones come up from time to time for around 25-45 bucks. I got an NOS WD-O carb in the box for my Hudson for 25.00

 

I've got a few of them already, but one's really rotten. So I've just been keeping my eyes open. Thanks for the tip though.
