Well with tomorrow's paycheck I'll have a saved up to order up my axle and some small parts for my 36 pick-up. When I was setting and planning all this up I thought I'll run a 42 - 48 axle which is 50 3/8 king pin to king pin.

I thought it would give it a more wide stance, and be closer to the width of the rear end.

But now I wonder. Would a 37 - 41 which is 3 inches narrower look better? I got to wondering if it would look cartoony with the wide front axle.

No fenders and stuck out in front of the grill, so I can do what ever I want. What do you cats think?

    TIA

This cat thinks the narrow axles look best. I ran the mega-skinny one [magnum 4" dropped I-beam] on my old 33 pickup.I think it was a 46 incher.

Gotta concur with Rocky. The stock width is your best bet on this kind of setup.
