I have a pair of 682C Guides that need sealed beam bulbs.....which should I gat to maintain the authentic look? Thanks, Jeff
In my Guides I run 7" convex lenses which take a H4 Halogen globe. Lenses are made by Autopal in India and as far as I know are the only Halogen lens which doesn't have a flat lens and therefore gives you the right look. Halogen globes are available in various strengths up to 120 watts on high beam so you can select globes to suit. You can also get them to take a parking globe if you want to include parkers in your headlights. Don't know if the Autopal stuff is available in the US though.
I am using these ones from Speedway. $6.99 each. Certainly not the brightest choice out there, but at least they don't look like something that would be mounted on a spaceship like some of the seal beams out there. Using relays with them so hoping that will help brighten things up a bit https://www.speedwaymotors.com/12-V...ed-Beam-Headlight-Replacement-Bulb,35745.html
