Putting together a 34 full fender PU for my wife to drive. Would like to get it to handle as well as possible. Do the aftermarket cross members have a benefit when working with caster. Also have a couple of original I beams but was led to believe even after having them dropped they may be too wide to run under fenders especially with disc brakes. Appreciate all thoughts.
    Thanks

Caster is the inclination of the axle and was set up by Ford to be around 6 degrees as I recall. The wishbone if cut can be used to change the caster not the crossmember. A repo front crossmember has the caster build it also. If you use hairpins then they can be adjusted at the clevis point to the desired caster. I have used stock axles that have been dropped and never had a clearance problem on a 34 Ford.
