I've been using the Offy super dual and 94s with good results.

"Tell us more why is this???? Whats with the New Bergs??? "

The best and easiest way to describe it is, the quality is extremely poor.

What kind of "good performance" are you looking for?

    1-Better than stock
    2-Strong street
    3-Streetable track car
    4-All out racer

    For #1 - anything.
#2 - any of the dual carbs
    #3 - we're into opinions
    #4 - we're into myth

    ;)

You've got good suggestions. If you can build to a '53 year, then put a 4bbl on it - WCFB, 4Jet, Aeroquad, etc.

Otherwise, just to get dual carbs, it's hard to be the Edmunds intakes - keep the generator in the stock location, they're easy to find, and relatively cheap.

Yeah...I can only imagine that you are talking about the Speedway version, one of which was recently dismantled and examined on here. I've been running one of Clive Prew's new Stromberg 97 carbs for a couple of years and can't praise it highly enough. Nor can the many HAMBers who also run them. It's probably best to clarify that these carbs are not the same.

I have had good luck with my Thickstun PM 7. I like it so much that I bought a spare for the next car I build with a flatty. I also have a couple of the Limey's new Strombergs and they are the bomb.
