In the process of building a 1979 350 chevy engine, nothing to pumped up. Bored .60 over, flat top pistons, 327 350 hp Melling cam, Edelbrock 600 etc. I have two different sets of heads on the shelf that I've had re-conditioned by the local machine shop, here they are: 333882 or 462624 are my options. Both sets of these heads are ready to be bolted on. Which set would you guys recommend? Thanks in advance for any help! Travis
I would use the 882's. They should both be big chamber heads but the intake valves in some of the 624's are 1.72" instead of 1.94. The 624's are also a lightweight casting which might be more prone to cracking.
