If a person was installing a t-5 flat head combo in a rod, which is better and why?

    More reliable?
    More available?
GM or ford clutch/ pressure plate is better?

    Help me out.

I ended up using a late 80's camaro/firebird diaphragm clutch in my installation because the input shaft in my T-5 was the early 90's unit with the larger spline on the input shaft. I subs***uted this shaft in my earlier box because the s-10 clutch disk would interfere with my flathead flywheel. Just use the late syncro ring as well with it. The camaro disk cleared nicely and allowed my to use all factory parts in this installation without having to get a custom clutch disk. I can go to any parts store for replacement parts. Hope this helps.

Oh, and I used a clutch fork from a 70's corvette. It curves way forward as it comes out of the bellhousing and provides more clearance for the floor mounted pedals in my '32.
