I love 30/31 A sedans and want to build one for the next prject and have the wild hair going. all the buds say get a 28/29. As I am ready to get one, need some opinions as to the cool factor. Will be old school hi boy with 35 wires, olds engine and rear and so on.

I know its my decision but tell me why they all like 28/29??? The only reason so far is its a poor mans 32.... well I am a poor, man!

    Thanks

28's and 9's sit on 32 rails better.

I prefer the '28/'29 mostly because of the neat narrow cowl and front door post taper.........really nice lines there.........I also like the fender contours on the front that follow the tire line better and do not have the big gap of the more sloping '30/'31's. It's all just personal opinion.........build what you like.....even without the fenders. Also like the smaller radiator shell too!

So it sits better on 32 rails. This it will have. I will look at the door post, not sure of the difference. Thanks so far

I know cool is what you like, I have a 39 ford PU with a 49 flattie with two 97's, mordrop axel, buggie springs, and a top loader. Tell me I don't take heat for that ugly truck but it is cool.
Just want some opinions as to why? I will learn something here ya know.

Being I'm an A-bone kinda guy, I'm partial to the 28/29's mainly because of the tight wrapping fenders compared to the 30/31 stretched fenders. When they're slammed, like my 29' closed cab pickup, they got "attitude" written all over em' ! Now a 28/29 sedan whether it has fenders or not, needs a 4"-5" chop to go with that slammed look, and now you really have "attitude" written all over it. lol! A highboy chopped looks pretty slick to in my opinion. But, do what you want to do, that's what its all about....

I was going to do a 31/2 chop. Not hearing anyone speak up for the late A bone.
