Caps looks more finished, but no caps looks like the street brawlers when I was a kid. So it is a matter of what you are after I suppose. Maybe caps for the Goodguys or NSRA events and no caps when you are looking for a race. Note: no offense intended to the clubs mentioned or the members there of.

Thanks to all the 145 who voted. 121 voted "with caps". 21 voted withoout caps. I really appreciate all the ideas that were offered and will now go "with caps". Wheels will stay red as that's the way it was in 1960's where I lived. Plus, I learned a new word "poncey" which is defined as follows: poncey , poncy If you say that someone or something is poncey, you mean you do not like them because they are too feminine or artistic.
No caps! Looks like its ready to run! Nice to see I'm in the minority...I think that can be a good thing!
If it is that hard to decide, put hubcaps only on the right side and none on the left side...that way you are covered either way...leave the wheels red, the car needs the color. The red may be too light& bright, paint them maroon.
My vote...no caps, black wheels with rings and chrome lugs....if it were mine probably blackwalls too.
Two totally different aesthetics there....it really has more to do with your personality and how you wish to project that "feeling" about your car....therefore not voting...you should want to figure that out on your own....just sayin..
